Kraig McNutt, M.S., M.Div.
Co-Founder and President
Kraig is from Louisville, Kentucky. Ever since he was four years old he can remember his heart being drawn to Africa, whether it was watching the TV series Daktari in the late 60s, or National Geographic specials about Dr. Louis Leakey working in Kenya, Africa has held a unique place in his heart for more than 40 years.
He has been to Africa several times and works closely with the Dinka tribe in south Sudan as well as the oppressed and vulnerable children in the slums of Nairobi Kenya.
His family – and wife of over twenty years – live in beautiful middle Tennessee.

McNutt’s formal education and studies include undergraduate and graduate work in communications, theater, history, classical and modern languages, theology, archaeology, information science and philosophy.
He has worked in the Internet marketing field for the past twelve years, focusing on developing virtual communities.
Kraig met Alphonse Kabui, a native Kenyan, in November 2005 and shortly thereafter the Kenyan and Tennesseean formed a ministry called New Seed of Hope. New Seed exists to bring hope to the millions of people in East and Central Africa, especially widows and orphans, who are victims of political and religious wars, persecution, tribal fighting, genocide, poverty, hunger, HIV/AIDS and disease.
New Seed is producing and creating a documentary about the story of Lost Boys of Sudan who are “returning home” to be the new seed of Sudan.
New Seed also works in the Kibera slum in Nairobi Kenya and is partnering with Harvesters for the Nations in south Sudan to educate young Sudanese and serve orphans.

Our hearts and minds are well focused towards the call of Christ.
God has been speaking the same message in our hearts despite the fact that we are separated by thousands of miles. We, in NSOH have one Vision, One Mission, One Focus, One Purpose- To serve the desperate and hopeless. To give hope, to teach the word and to develop talents.
The entry of Johnson to the board is such a blessing. He has the heart of gold.
Serving together is such a bliss.
You are so right my friend. God brought Johnson Migwi, and his associates, to New Seed at just the right time. We are in awe of watching God work in our midst.
CALLED OR DRIVEN?
New Seed of Hope Ministry’s Africa staff are called individuals. Called to serve as Christ would. Our foundation is not measured by the ground we cover, but in the obedience to the Lord and submission to his call.
Why am called to pastor Reformation Church of East Africa (RCEA) church ministry?
The reason is simple:
Am called and not driven.
Our society abounds with Sauls, men and women caught in golden cages, driven to accumulate, to be recognized, or to achieve. Our churches, most anyway, are unfortunately fountains gone dry. Rather than springs of life giving energy that cause people to grow and to delight in God’s way, they become sources of stress. The driven mens private world is disordered. His cage may be lavishly golden, but it is a trap.
Reformation Church Of East Africa ( RCEA ) will be more concerned in the private world of individuals. We are called and not driven. Driven men accumulate and seek recognition, Called men seek to recognize and to share. Called men and women’s private world os orderly. Their cages may not externally look lavish or golden, but their private world is orderly. The ministry of orphans and widows is primary in their vision. They are the hope of the hopeless, the hope to the windows, the comfort to the disturbed and the afraid.
Pastor Alphonse Kabui- (RCEA)
Africa Director
New Seed of Hope.
Our country Kenya has been faced with an unticipated post election violence.
House have been burnt, lives destroyed, properties destroyed but our hearts are intact.
Some of our beloved countrymen have lost lives and many are writhing in abject poverty as a result of loosing all the labored for for many years.
Many are mourning their beloved ones.
Many are internally displaced.
Many are despeartely hungry.
Kibera is about the largest slum in Africa and this is one of the places that post election hatred and destruction was metted on poor people.
Many of the slum dwellers have no shelter or food. Many children cling on their hungry parents’ breasts lsearching for the mother’s milk. The mothers’ breast are devoid of milk as a result of hunger.
Kisima Children’s orphanage is a project of New Seed of Hope and is situated in the heart of Kibera slums. The guardians of these kids are adversely affected as most of them are internally displaced.
We need help so we can help them. The kids will be back to us on 15th January 2008. They will expect us to feed and cloth them.
We need well wishers to come and assist New Seed of Hope.
Thanks to the New Seed of Hope president, Kraig Mcnutt, who tirelessly and sacrifially gives his life and money for this course. God bless his heart.
