The Vision, Mission and Values
New Seed of Hope

Mission Statement

To bring hope to the millions of people in East and Central Africa, especially widows and orphans, who are victims of political and religious wars, persecution, tribal fighting, genocide, poverty, hunger, HIV/AIDS and disease.

Vision Statement

To joyfully present millions of East and Central Africans blameless before the Wedding Supper of the Lamb (i.e., Rev. 19) as a fitting tribute to God’s name, so that people from all nations can worship God forever on the new heaven and earth.

Values

Jesus Christ is preeminent in everything we do. We exist for His glory. He is the only way to God.The Bible is our very foundation for life, truth and living.Every important thing happens and is supported through prayer and the life of faith. The Church, the living witness of God, is God’s primary agent for change, and the means by which He accomplishes His will and plan on earth.Unity and harmony in the Body of Christ is the best testimony that God is alive.

We are called to evangelize and disciple people so that they might grow up in Christ and give their lives away.

We are called to love others, no matter their background or life experience. Everyone should be treated with dignity and respect.

We are called to care for widows and orphans specifically (cp. James 1:27).
