Pastor Alphonse Kabui
New Seed of Hope is currently focused on a church-plant start in Nairobi, led by Pastor Alphone Kabui. The church was recently offered free-use of some land near the Kibera slum that can be used for the church body to physically meet and worship.
Once the church is viable and capable, it will start several Kisima-centres (school-orphanage).
We are employing a micro-enterprise model around the work in Kenya so that the entire work can be self-supporting.
Kisima is the Swahili word for “watered garden”. We believe that these Kisima-centres – strategically placed all around the Kibera slum area – will be like watered gardens in a parched place (see Isa. 58: 6-12).
